Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei affirmed that "the movement that has started in Palestine will move forward and will lead to the complete victory of the Palestinians," calling on everyone to "help the Palestinian people." During his meeting with the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, and his family in Tehran, he stated that "the events witnessed in Palestine in recent days, especially the repeated bombings and the martyrdom of women, children, and men, pain the heart of humanity, but another part of these events shows the amazing strength of Islam in Palestine." Khamenei viewed the "formation of the Islamic system in Iran and the establishment of a government based on the thought of political Islam after many centuries as one of the manifestations of the strength of Islam," noting that "the Islamic Republic has become stronger day by day since its establishment and will be even stronger in the future."
