The U.S. Treasury Department announced today, Thursday, new sanctions against Iran targeting its drone production following its attack on Israel with drones and missiles earlier this week. The U.S. Treasury stated in a release that the sanctions target 16 individuals and two entities that enabled Iran to produce drones and manufacture types of engines that operate the Iranian "Shahed" drones, which Tehran used in the April 13 attack on Israel. An official report also indicated that "Britain has today listed 13 new entities on its sanctions system regarding Iran."
