Arrest of Yasser Al-Kokash's Killers Before Their Escape

The Lebanese Army Command - Director of Guidance reported that "following the statement regarding the security follow-up and investigation into the murder of citizen Yasser Al-Kokash in the town of Al-Azouniyeh - Aley, a unit of the army, with the support of a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, arrested the Syrians (A.K.) and (A.A.) on April 18, 2024 while they were attempting to flee to Syria illegally via the land border in the Masnaa area, for their involvement in the crime. An investigation has been initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
