The center stated on the platform "X" (formerly Twitter), "The stations of the national seismic monitoring network of the National Center for Meteorology recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 on the Richter scale in Japan." It added that the tremor was recorded at "11:24 PM on 01/04/2024 according to the local time of the United Arab Emirates."
