An Iraqi security source reported that there is no new information at the moment, but the relevant agencies are continuing their work. The source mentioned that in Maysan province, unknown individuals kidnapped a leader of the "Saraya al-Salam," the armed wing of the Sadrist movement, in the center of the city of Amara. The source noted that "unknown assailants in Tahoe-type vehicles kidnapped leader Ali Ni'mah at gunpoint in the 30th sector in the center of Amara." The source added that "the perpetrators took the kidnapped individual to an unknown location, while security forces are conducting an extensive investigation into the incident to uncover its circumstances."
