Animal rights activist Ghina Nahfawi wrote on her account via the "X" platform: “For the thousandth time after a million, a call to Governor Ramzi Nahra and Tripoli Mayor Riyad Yamak: Cows belong on farms. Their constant presence on the streets of Abi Samra to graze on garbage exposes their intestines to damage from plastic and other materials, in addition to their milk becoming contaminated with paint, detergents, and shampoo. We have reported this disgrace and disregard for these lives more than once.” ⚠️ New? The phenomenon of stray cows in #Tripoli! For the thousandth time after a million, a call ?? to Governor Ramzi Nahra and Tripoli Mayor Dr. Riyad Yamak: Cows belong on farms...
She added, “For everyone who eats meat and products from cows, like milk and others, you are consuming the same food as the cows and drinking contaminated milk! Exposing cows to waste and sewage water causes them to carry dangerous germs that can be transmitted to humans.”
Nahfawi continued, “If this poor animal doesn’t matter to you, at least care about yourselves!! The terrifying and deadly mad cow disease occurred when cows consumed feed mixed with unsuitable animal remains. Cheers to your health; we’ve had enough of human madness, we don’t need mad cows.” She concluded, “Addressed to Minister of Agriculture Abbas Haj Hassan and his advisor Abdullah Nasr Al-Din.”
