Amani: We Renew Our Support for Lebanon

The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, along with embassy officials, commemorated the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran - a national holiday - with a celebration at the Iranian embassy in Bir Hassan. In his speech, Amani emphasized that "the peoples of the region and their countries are paying a heavy price today due to the reckless policies of foreign powers from outside our region and their unjust support for the oppressive Zionist entity in its genocidal war against the dear Palestinian people in general, and the people of Gaza in particular. We are certain that these epic battles penned by the Palestinian resistance will ultimately lead, despite all the suffering, to the expulsion of the Israeli occupation and the achievement of final victory, as this is the promise of God, who said, 'If you support Allah, He will support you and make your feet firm.'"

He pointed out that "the brotherly Lebanon, which we have historical ties with, is connected by bonds of brotherhood, friendship, love, cooperation, and common interests. We are confident that it is capable, through its aware people, its valiant army, and the children of its heroic resistance, to progress, succeed, and maintain its historical victories while repelling the attacks of the brutal Zionist entity, with the help and care of God. As we have always done, we renew our support alongside it and our steadfast readiness to develop bilateral relations and strengthen the ties of friendship in all fields, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two brotherly countries."
