The Iranian drone (Shahid 149), named "Gaza," made its debut in Iran's pavilion at the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition "DIMDEX 2024," where it was showcased for the first time. The Gaza aircraft is a long-range unmanned fighter designed and manufactured in Iran. This drone belongs to the family of Iranian Shahid drones. It was officially announced in 2021 by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The Gaza features a wide and heavy structure and can be used for various combat, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. It can also be utilized in search and rescue operations and disaster relief efforts following natural disasters and accidents. Its operational range reaches up to 2000 kilometers, and it can fly at an altitude exceeding 10,000 meters, with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It covers a radius of 500 kilometers in intelligence gathering and surveillance missions, is capable of carrying 13 bombs in operational missions, and can transport 500 kilograms of equipment. Additionally, it can fly at 35,000 feet with a flight duration of 35 hours.
