Audio Recording of Israeli Prisoners Killed by "Friendly Fire" in Gaza

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority revealed an audio recording of two prisoners whom the army stated were accidentally killed in Gaza. It was clarified that the prisoners are Alon and Yotam, who were heard screaming and pleading with soldiers to save them but were shot under the assumption they were from Hamas. The recording shows them shouting, "Save us, we are captives, we are under the stairs, please save us." They continued, "We are kidnapped, save us, save us." Alon Shamriz, the father of the Israeli prisoner Alon, expressed his grief over his son's fate, stating that the Israeli army reached the location but failed to save him: "I and my children cried out with Alon in those moments, and it is unfortunate that the army killed them... We heard the sound of gunfire."
