Saudi advisor Turki Al Sheikh praised the series "Al Hashashin," starring star Karim Abdel Aziz. The advisor stated on his official Facebook page: "The creators of the series "Al Hashashin" have the right to choose the language that suits them, and the Egyptian dialect is ancient and understood across the Arab world. Turks, when producing their series, do it in their language, as do foreigners in the West. Modern standard Arabic may not attract a segment of youth." He continued: "I love modern standard Arabic, but others may not prefer it. I watch any work by Karim Abdel Aziz, even though I have recently reduced my viewing of Arab productions, and I always aspire to reach the level of Western productions and their quality." He added: "The series "Al Hashashin" is a massive production and a step in the right direction towards achieving a global standard. If a series were produced about the pharaohs, would it be suitable to use the hieroglyphic language? Certainly not; the language of the era is more fitting and better. We are currently in the process of producing a massive Saudi series under the auspices of entertainment, and I am uncertain whether to choose modern standard Arabic or the colloquial for broader appeal. The step taken by "Al Hashashin" has encouraged me to think about this."
