However, he has not appointed a new captain yet, stating: "I will make the decision in the coming days." He added, "There will be a new leadership system. Among the 23 players, there will be a captain and a vice-captain. It’s something that should happen naturally. It will always be in the team’s best interest." France will play in Group B alongside the Netherlands, Gibraltar, Greece, and Ireland, whom they will face in Dublin on March 27.
