Al-Hilal Football Club from Saudi Arabia has announced that its Serbian midfielder, Sergej Milinković-Savić, has sustained a knee injury and will require treatment for 3 to 4 weeks. Savic was injured during the match against Al-Fateh in the domestic league last Friday. He underwent imaging tests today, Sunday, to determine the nature of his injury, and he will be out for 4 weeks.
Consequently, Savic will miss the upcoming match against Mumbai City from India tomorrow, Monday, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League. He will also be unavailable for Al-Hilal's match against Al-Taawoun on the 10th of this month in the Saudi league, as well as the game against Al-Hazm on the 25th, and the match against Navbahor of Uzbekistan in the AFC Champions League later this month. Additionally, Savic will miss the next international break with the Serbian national team. His potential return may be in time for the Riyadh Derby against Al-Nassr in the league on December 1st.
