Meeting with MPs on General Situations and Development Affairs

Interior and Municipalities Minister Bassam Mawlawi received MP Ghada Ayoub along with a delegation from the Saida-Zahrani Municipal Union at his office today, Thursday, where they discussed developmental matters. He then met with MP Farid Haikal al-Khazen to discuss general conditions and issues concerning the Kesrouan region. Mawlawi also reviewed the general situations with MP Ahmad al-Khair. Later, MP Farid Haikal al-Khazen issued a statement about his meeting with Minister Mawlawi, noting that they discussed how to facilitate the return of employees at the Vehicle Registration Authority to their jobs, similar to the employees of the real estate departments in Mount Lebanon. Al-Khazen praised "the measures taken by Minister Mawlawi to reopen the Vehicle Registration Authority in Jounieh, and he emphasized the continuation of efforts to restore the normal functioning of this vital public service."
