Lebanon Warns Against Any Escalatory Action Against Rafah

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants warned, in a statement, "against any escalatory action carried out by Israeli occupation forces against the city of Rafah, which threatens a severe humanitarian disaster for more than one million Palestinians who have fled to this area due to the continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the past seven months, contributing to the implementation of Israeli plans for forced displacement." It called on "the international community and relevant countries to take immediate and effective action to stop the Israeli massacres, and Israel's ongoing violations of international humanitarian law, as well as related international resolutions, and to strive towards achieving negotiations for a permanent ceasefire."
