The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued a statement today, Thursday, stating: "At 8:00 PM on 11/09/2023, members of the Dahar al-Baydar checkpoint in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit stopped a black 'Cherokee' jeep heading from Beqaa towards Beirut, containing an individual identified as H. Z. (born in 1998, Lebanese). Upon searching him, 52 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of hashish, 0.5 kilograms of marijuana, 6 tramadol pills, a Kalashnikov rifle, and a military pouch containing 8 magazines were found in his possession.
At 11:00 PM on the same date, members of the Dahar al-Baydar checkpoint in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit arrested an individual identified as H. A. (born in 1996, Lebanese), riding a black and red motorcycle that was found to be stolen from Beirut. The two mentioned individuals were arrested and handed over along with the jeep and the seized items to the Dahar al-Baydar police station for the necessary legal action against them."
