Following the deadly attack on the "Tower 22" base in Jordan by a drone, which resulted in the deaths of 3 Americans and injuries to 34 others, an American official revealed a surprise. The official disclosed that the air defense system at "Tower 22" mistakenly identified the suicide drone as friendly, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on Monday. The newspaper also reported that other officials stated Washington is considering carrying out strikes inside Iran, though this is a less likely option.
