The Security Media Cell in Iraq announced today, Sunday, the arrest of what is called the Islamic Police official in "ISIS" in Nineveh. The cell stated in a statement that "through a qualitative operation and a distinguished intelligence effort, and based on precise information from the 16th Division Intelligence Directorate, in cooperation with the Division Reconnaissance Battalion, a continuous field monitoring began from one of the neighboring countries after the terrorist entered Iraqi territory. A well-made ambush was set for him on the left side of Mosul City." It added that "this terrorist, known as (Abu Sakr), was arrested and is wanted by the Iraqi judiciary under Article (4 / Terrorism). He held the position of what is called (Islamic Police Official in the terrorist ISIS) and was carrying forged documents to facilitate his movement since entering Iraqi territory." It noted that "he has been handed over to the requesting authority in accordance with the legal procedures."
