Putin: Rise in Russia's Gas Production

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Monday that Russian gas production increased by eight percent in the first four months of the year, reaching 246.4 billion cubic meters. In a speech delivered during a meeting with senior oil officials broadcast on television, he noted that "Russian oil production has decreased by 1.8 percent since the beginning of the year to 195.7 million tons, a decline largely attributed to production cuts under OPEC+ agreements."
