Blinken Calls on Israel to Protect Civilians

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken called on Israel today, as a democratic state, to place the highest value on human life and to increase the flow of aid to the Gaza Strip. He added that this week's "horrific attack" on employees of the World Central Kitchen charity in the region must be the last of its kind. Blinken stated in a press conference in Brussels, "Right now, there is no greater importance in Gaza than protecting civilians, increasing humanitarian aid, and ensuring the safety of those who provide it. Israel must rise to this moment."
