Security Forces Raid Illegal Betting and Exchange Offices

The General Directorate of State Security announced in a statement today, Thursday, that "in line with the campaign carried out by the Directorate to combat the phenomenon of illegal exchange and betting offices, the Directorate conducted raids in Zahle on seven illegal exchange and betting offices, confiscated their electronic content and paper documents, sealed them with red wax, and arrested their owners for questioning after obtaining judicial permission. Additionally, a State Security patrol raided an exchange and betting office in Western Bekaa, confiscated its contents, and sealed it with red wax."
