Mawlawi Sets Date for Municipal Elections in These Provinces

Interior and Municipalities Minister Bassam Mawlawi has signed a decision to call the electoral bodies in Beirut, as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek-Hermel provinces, to elect members of municipal councils and to determine the number of members for each, as well as to elect mukhtars and advisory councils and to specify the number of mukhtars and other advisory members in the districts of Beirut and the Bekaa and Baalbek-Hermel provinces. This will take place on May 26, 2024.
