Khamenei During His Meeting with Haniyeh: Iran Will Never Hesitate to Support Palestine and Gaza

Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei affirmed today, Tuesday, that Iran will never hesitate to support the Palestinian cause, praising the resilience of the Palestinian people and the resistance in Gaza. During his meeting with the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, and his accompanying delegation, Khamenei stated that "the historical patience of the people of Gaza in the face of the brutal Zionist crimes supported by the West is unparalleled, and it is a phenomenon that has made the Palestinian cause the number one issue in the world, despite the enemy's intentions."

Khamenei emphasized that "the killing of the people of Gaza and the genocide in this region pains the heart of every person with a conscience," stressing that Iran will never hesitate to support the Palestinian cause and the oppressed and resisting people of Gaza.

For his part, Haniyeh expressed his gratitude for the popular and governmental support in Iran for the Palestinian cause. He asserted that "the people of Gaza and the power of resistance will not allow the enemy to achieve any of its objectives despite all the brutality and massacres," adding that "the war on Gaza is a global war, and the United States is a key partner in the Zionist aggression." He noted that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation defeated the myth of the "invincible army," and that the patience and resilience of the people of Gaza have thwarted the enemy and prevented it from achieving any of its strategic goals in Gaza.

Earlier today, Haniyeh arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, leading a high-level delegation from the movement's leadership, where he met with the Iranian Foreign Minister and discussed the overall developments related to the ongoing war, politically and militarily, and its various implications, including the United Nations Security Council resolution issued yesterday.
