Two Injured in Israeli Airstrike Targeting Rural Damascus

Two civilians were injured this evening as a result of an Israeli attack targeting a residential building in rural Damascus. A military source told "SANA" that "at around 5:50 PM today, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential building in rural Damascus." The source added that "the aggression resulted in two civilian injuries and caused some material damages." An Israeli strike targeted the village of Bhadliyeh in southern rural Damascus near the capital today, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Observatory reported that the airstrikes led to explosions in southern rural Damascus, stating in comments to "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath" that "the targeted area in rural Damascus is used by Hezbollah." Additionally, "Sputnik" agency reported that "Syrian air defenses are responding to Israeli aggression on the outskirts of the capital Damascus, after attempting to target farmlands around the city of Sayyida Zaynab." "Sputnik" obtained information indicating that "Israeli aircraft launched several missiles from within the airspace of the Syrian Golan."
