Despite the concept having faded for centuries, the term "Nazism" still exists. The sportswear company "Adidas" has decided to ban the sale of the German national team shirt bearing the number 44 after the design faced harsh criticism for resembling "one of the symbols of the Nazi party." Social media users criticized images of the new design for the number 44 shirt, which was officially released last month, pointing out that it resembles the logo of the Nazi party's SS troops led by Adolf Hitler. Adidas announced in an official statement that it would prohibit the sale of this shirt on its online store, in addition to banning terms such as "Führer" or "Hitler." Adidas, which faced severe backlash from fans, clarified that the German Football Association and its partner Tim Sports 11 are responsible for the design of the names and numbers.
