Galant: We Are Eliminating Hamas and Sending More Forces to Rafah

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced today, Thursday, that "additional forces will join a ground operation in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza, and that the campaign is aimed at eliminating Hamas." He added in a statement: "This operation will continue with the entry of additional forces (into the area), our troops have destroyed several tunnels in the region and will soon destroy more tunnels." He further stated: "This activity will increase; Hamas is not an organization that can reorganize, it does not have reserve forces, it does not have a supply stockpile, nor the capacity to treat the terrorists we are targeting. The result is that we are eliminating Hamas."
