U.S. sources in Joe Biden's election campaign revealed yesterday, Friday, that the president and his vice president Kamala Harris are scheduled to travel to all the states holding primary elections during March as part of intensifying efforts for his re-election following "Super Tuesday" and the State of the Union address. Biden will travel to New Hampshire on Monday, Wisconsin on Wednesday, and Michigan on Thursday, according to his campaign. Prior to that, he visited Pennsylvania on Friday and will visit Georgia today, Saturday, immediately after his State of the Union address. More trips to key states will be announced throughout the month.
The campaign has described March as a "month of action," involving domestic travels for Biden, Harris, and key campaign officials, alongside efforts to expand volunteer engagement and increase staff numbers in battleground states. The campaign will also spend $30 million on advertisements over six weeks, which represents a larger expenditure than in all of 2023 after the president announced his re-election efforts in April. Campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon described March as a "pivotal month" and stated yesterday that "the campaign is ready to move forward," emphasizing that Biden and Harris will travel daily.
