Kuwait: Refinery Affected by Cooling Water Leak

Kuwait National Petroleum Company announced today, Saturday, that "refining operations at the Abdullah Port refinery were affected by a leak of the water used for cooling production units." The company added: "The refinery crews have begun the gradual and safe shutdown of the units while taking all precautionary measures, allowing maintenance teams to repair the issue as quickly as possible and gradually restart the units, ensuring that export operations are not affected."
