A tragic incident occurred in Port Said, northern Egypt, where a student driving his car at high speed ran over four individuals, including a woman, resulting in their deaths. Bystanders on December 23rd Street in the Al-Zohour neighborhood of Port Said were surprised by a reckless car speeding through and hitting three students standing in front of the Faculty of Science, along with another woman, as the driver fled the scene.
Ambulances transported the deceased to the hospital, while security forces managed to apprehend the perpetrator. According to investigations, it was revealed that the offender is a law student who was racing another classmate in their cars when he lost control of the steering wheel, resulting in the deaths of the students and the woman. The locals held grand funeral processions for the victims, demanding that the perpetrator be tried swiftly. The prosecution has been notified and is conducting an investigation.
