Starting Today: French Embassy Launches Visa Service Without Appointment for Saudis

The French embassy in Saudi Arabia announced yesterday, Monday, the introduction of a service allowing Saudi citizens to enter VFS centers without an appointment starting today, May 7. The embassy added that Saudi citizens will be able to take advantage of the free attendance service at VFS centers in Riyadh and Dammam without appointment, under the condition of arriving on a first-come, first-served basis.

The embassy stated on its website that 100 slots will be available in Riyadh and 50 in Dammam each day during the operating hours of the centers. The service will be provided based on the order of arrival, taking into account the specified daily quotas.

Additionally, applicants must submit their complete applications and pay the usual visa fees along with the VFS fees. The French embassy in Riyadh clarified that this service will be an addition to the appointment booking service, which will still be available on the VFS website.
