The British Maritime Authority reported today, Sunday, a new incident 177 nautical miles off the southeastern coast of Yemen. The authority stated that a small boat carrying four armed men attacked a ship off the southeastern coast of Yemen. The Houthi group announced yesterday that they targeted a British oil tanker in the Red Sea with several naval missiles, resulting in a "direct hit." Earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Operations agency reported that a ship was damaged following two successive attacks off the coast of Mawja, Yemen. The agency, managed by the Royal Navy, posted on the platform "X" that it received "a report from a ship about two attacks" 14 nautical miles southwest of Mawja in Yemen. They added that "during the first attack, the ship experienced an explosion nearby, which the crew felt. Subsequently, the second attack on the ship was believed to involve two missiles, causing damage to the vessel."
