Negotiations in Cairo regarding the ceasefire in Gaza are set to resume "with all parties present" today, Wednesday, according to Egyptian media reports. The "Cairo News" channel quoted a senior source stating: "The resumption of ceasefire negotiations today in Cairo with the presence of all parties." Egypt is hosting delegations representing both sides of the conflict, Hamas and Israel, in addition to Qatar and the United States, which are joining Egypt in mediation efforts to halt the war that erupted on October 7 of last year. This comes as Israeli sources revealed a planned meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, William Burns, on Wednesday. The last round of talks between the mediators and the Palestinian movement in Cairo concluded on Sunday, while Israel and Hamas publicly exchanged blame over the failure to reach an agreement.
