Russian authorities have announced the detention of three individuals involved in the "Krokus" terrorist attack in the cities of Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Omsk, all of whom are from Central Asian countries. The Russian Federal Security Service stated in a press release that "in the cities of Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Omsk, a Russian citizen and two foreign nationals, all from Central Asia, were detained for their involvement in the terrorist attack on the Krokus complex on March 22, 2024." It added that during searches, it was found that two of the detainees had transferred funds to purchase firearms and vehicles used in the terrorist attack, while the third was directly involved in recruiting collaborators for the attack and financing its executors.
