Injury of 3 Israeli Soldiers in Rafah Explosion

Israeli media reported that 3 Israeli soldiers were injured in an explosion from a booby-trapped tunnel opening in Rafah. The "Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades" announced that they targeted an Israeli engineering unit in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stated in a message: "Qassam fighters managed to blow up a booby-trapped tunnel opening against an Israeli engineering unit consisting of 3 vehicles, a digger, and several soldiers, causing casualties among them east of Rafah city, south of Gaza."

On Wednesday, the Qassam Brigades announced that they are engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces advancing east of Rafah, coinciding with the incursion of Israeli tanks and troops into the city, and their control over the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, cutting off the road between the crossing and Salah al-Din road. This comes after Tel Aviv declared that the ceasefire proposal presented by Hamas does not meet its demands, reaffirming its commitment to the attack it had threatened for a long time.
