Investigative authorities in Egypt have begun proceedings against an individual accused of killing his neighbor, dismembering her body into small pieces, and storing it in a refrigerator for several days.
The incident started with a report received by the police department in Al-Salam, Cairo, from a person stating that his sister had been missing from home for several days. Searches conducted in various locations yielded no results.
Security personnel continued investigations into the whereabouts of the missing woman, revealing that she had been murdered by her neighbor due to ongoing disputes between them.
Initial investigations suggest that the suspect lured the victim to his apartment, killed her, and then dismembered her body into small pieces, placing half of the dismembered body in bags inside a refrigerator in his home.
The suspect disposed of the other half of the victim's body by throwing it into a garbage container, away from their residential area. Legal actions have been initiated against him.
