The organizing committee for "Beirut, Capital of Arab Youth 2023" has circulated the logo for the latest event, "Beirut Volunteer Award," which will take place from April 14 to 17. The logo for the "Beirut Volunteer Award" is inspired by the spirit and colors of the "Beirut, Capital of Arab Youth 2023" logo and the global concept of volunteering. The judging committee formed within the Lebanese Ministry of Youth and Sports has concluded the first stage of its work, selecting 13 initiatives from a total of 81 to participate in the final stage of the concluding event for "Beirut, Capital of Arab Youth 2023," which is the "Beirut Volunteer Award." The judges voted independently and selected 13 volunteer initiatives by young men and women from 8 Arab countries out of participants from 12 countries. They will be invited to Beirut from April 14 to 17 to discuss their initiatives in an open session before the committee. The announcement of the three winners will take place during the closing ceremony of "Beirut, Capital of Arab Youth 2023," scheduled for 5 PM on April 16, under the patronage of Prime Minister Najib Mikati, with prominent Arab figures present, at the Middle East Airlines training and conference center. The judging committee consisted of Joseph Saadallah, head of the youth department at the ministry, and members Nadia Badran, Sylvana Louka, Fayza Qanbar, Dr. Mirna Sabra, and the two gentlemen Hussein Omar, secretary of the organizing committee, and Hassan Sharara, director of events for "Beirut, Capital of Arab Youth 2023." Over the past months, the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized four consecutive activities within the framework of "Beirut, Capital of Arab Youth 2023," under the supervision of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports and the League of Arab States, aimed at youth: the "Arab Forum for Economic and Social Empowerment," "Discover Lebanon Program," the "6th Arab Forum for Youth Tourism," and the "Arab Scouting Forum," where youth participation from Arab countries exceeded expectations, occasionally reaching up to 16 countries.
