Students Supportive of Palestine Set Up Tents in Front of Mexico's Largest University

Dozens of students and activists supportive of Palestine set up tents in front of "National University of Mexico," the largest university in the country, on Thursday in protest of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza. The students placed Palestinian flags over their protest camp and chanted slogans including "Long live free Palestine" and "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be victorious." The protesters raised several demands, one of which is for the Mexican government to cut diplomatic and trade relations with Israel. In recent weeks, at least 30 American universities have witnessed pro-Palestinian protests.
