Title: State Security Arrests Syrians for Drug Trafficking in Baabda

The Directorate General of State Security issued a statement that said: "After monitoring and investigation, the general directorate of state security - Baabda office arrested the two Syrians (A.M.) and (S.A.) in the Jandouline area - Baabda district." The statement added: "Despite their attempts to escape using a motorcycle, upon searching them, 60 envelopes of various drugs were found. It was revealed that (A.M.) entered Lebanese territory illegally, while (S.A.) had an expired residency." It concluded, "After taking the detainees' statements, they were handed over along with the seized items and motorcycle to the competent judiciary."
