Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stated today, Saturday, that "Algeria is experiencing a deep transformation on all fronts following the comprehensive reform process." Tebboune, in a speech delivered on his behalf by Prime Minister Nazih Arabawi, on the occasion of the double anniversary of the nationalization of hydrocarbons and the founding of the Algerian Workers' Union, expressed: "We proudly commemorate this cherished anniversary for all of us."
He added that "everyone must maintain unity in a turbulent world to face challenges." Tebboune mentioned: "The establishment of the General Union of Algerian Workers was a decisive milestone in the struggle of the Algerian people to regain their freedom from colonialism," calling on all labor forces to rally around the reform agenda.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune revealed that "more than 141 exploratory and productive wells have been completed, realizing commitment number 21." He emphasized the "continued efforts to expedite the implementation of the hydrocarbons valorization program." He explained: "Algeria is committed to supporting a successful energy transition and positioning itself as a key player in electricity production and supporting reforestation and biodiversity. We also look forward confidently to the 7th Gas Summit in Algeria to optimally develop the exploitation of this resource."
