The thirteenth batch of injured Palestinian children and cancer patients arrived in the United Arab Emirates today, Saturday, in accordance with the directives of the President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to provide treatment and healthcare to 1,000 injured Palestinian children and 1,000 cancer patients from Gaza. The plane, coming from Al Arish Airport in Egypt, landed at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport with 98 individuals on board, including 40 children in urgent need of medical assistance suffering from severe injuries and burns, along with cancer patients requiring intensive treatment, accompanied by 58 family members. Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Medical Affairs and Life Sciences, Maha Barakat, stated that "the UAE is committed to alleviating the humanitarian suffering faced by our Palestinian brothers in Gaza. In this context, the wise leadership's directives came to provide all forms of support in the field of healthcare, where the country has launched a field hospital inside Gaza and a floating hospital in the city of Al Arish, Egypt, in addition to supplying hospitals in the sector with ambulances, equipment, medicine, and medical supplies."
