The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has clarified the rumors circulating on social media regarding the country being affected by "Storm Nihal," stating that these claims are unfounded. The authority emphasized that "everything shared on social media about the country being hit by Storm Nihal, causing increased wind activity and rainfall, is completely untrue."
It pointed out that "spring is a transitional season between winter and summer, during which we witness fluctuations in temperature, and some governorates and cities may experience intermittent rain."
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced "instability in weather conditions starting from Sunday and lasting for a full 72 hours, particularly in coastal governorates and northern areas where there are chances of scattered rain, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms."
It is expected that "on Sunday, the weather will be warm during the day in Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, and the northern coasts, warm in South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, and hot in southern Upper Egypt."
