The French Foreign Ministry revealed that it has delivered a roadmap to Israel and Lebanon aimed at de-escalation, as tensions continue to rise along Lebanon's southern border alongside the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza. The French Ministry stated: "We hope to receive a response from Israel soon regarding our proposal concerning Lebanon." It added: "We will not comment on what has been said about indirect negotiations between Israel and Lebanon." French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné visited Beirut and Tel Aviv this week and met with Lebanese and Israeli officials.
