Dublin airport authorities reported that 12 people were injured when a Qatar Airways plane encountered turbulence over Turkish airspace while en route from Doha to Dublin on Sunday. The statement from Dublin airport indicated that the aircraft landed safely as scheduled before 1 PM (12:00 GMT). The statement added: "Upon landing, emergency services, including airport police and the airport's fire and rescue department, received six injured passengers and six crew members after the plane experienced turbulence while flying over Turkey."
