Real Madrid Plans to Snatch Manchester United Star

Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez is looking to acquire a new player from Manchester United in the near future, similar to what occurred in 2009 with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. The royal club has been known for bringing players from the Red Devils over the years, including Cristiano Ronaldo, in a record deal worth £80 million at that time.

According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail," citing a Spanish report, Pérez plans to replicate the scenario of signing Ronaldo with Argentine Alejandro Garnacho in the same manner. The young United star (19 years old) has caught attention at Old Trafford, becoming a key player for his team, having scored 7 goals and assisted 4 others in 38 matches this season.

The report states that Real Madrid is closely monitoring Garnacho, and Pérez wishes to meet with the player when the team travels to Manchester next month to face Manchester City in the return leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
