The distinguished Ja'fari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan expressed that "the current event in the region is Gaza, and Gaza is greater than defeat. It has become clear that Gaza does not concern the Arabs, who privately differ from their public stance. The Arab Islamic summit ended with the conclusion to leave Gaza to God. From day one, land equates to resistance, the Israeli side is defeated and exhausted, and the Americans are underground due to the fire falling on their bases. American leadership in the Middle East has ended, and the countdown to war has begun; Israel has lost the war.
Lebanon must rebel against Washington and its loudspeakers and engage in a presidential settlement. The war ongoing on the southern borders should be protected by the parliament, which guarantees supreme national interests and is not a game of chance. Random shelling on the parliament equals shelling on Lebanon and Gaza." He said, "We have wasted enough of our national interests while insisting on sectarian alleys. Those who condemn the Zionist war must also apply their consequences in Lebanon. What the resistance is doing is an existential act for Lebanon, and it is the duty of all political forces to meet it with a national cost represented by a national settlement worthy of the resistance's achievements and the greatness of its national and regional capabilities.
Political maneuvering is transparent, and abandoning national responsibilities is shameful. What the resistance is doing amidst the American and NATO arsenals is a strategic victory for Lebanon, Gaza, and the region; it is absolute proof that Lebanon without resistance is nothing. The political security of the country is the most critical file ever, and we must start with it today to resolve other issues tomorrow; we must not lose sight of Lebanon's interests."
