The Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, noted that "the United States will stir up more military conflicts in the world to delay the repayment of its massive debts, which have exceeded $34.65 trillion." He added, "The loss of dominance is costly for the U.S. budget, and according to the U.S. Treasury, the budget deficit reached $236 billion last March in a steady negative trajectory, with about 28% of U.S. budget expenditures currently financed through borrowing."
Volodin pointed out that "the U.S. national debt has surpassed $34.65 trillion, and over the past four years, the value of this debt as a percentage of the country's GDP has risen from 107.2% to 131.5%." He continued: "The cost of servicing this debt has become the most problematic item in expenditures, with interest payment amounts expected to reach one-third of U.S. budget revenues in the near future."
He emphasized that "the rampant growth of U.S. debt indicates that Washington has no plans to repay it, as it has become accustomed to addressing its problems at the expense of others. To maintain its dominance, the United States initiated the war in Ukraine and sacrificed the EU economy, but it turned out that all this is not enough."
Volodin concluded: "Today they are once again inciting military action, but this time in the Middle East. Washington will continue to create more and more military conflicts in an attempt to delay the declaration of its bankruptcy, which will inevitably occur given this level of borrowing."
