The United Arab Emirates recently launched its first smart embassy in Seoul, coinciding with the official visit of Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to the Republic of Korea. The smart embassy includes a range of services, such as issuing return documents for UAE citizens, authenticating individual and commercial documents, and addressing emergency situations along with other consular services provided to citizens, residents abroad, and prospective visitors to the UAE.
AI technologies have been employed in collaboration with national companies to ensure the provision of advanced and simplified services that enhance the customer experience. Additionally, the smart embassy supports national sustainability strategies, as alignment with sustainability standards was considered during the project's implementation.
