Egyptian sources reported today, Saturday, that "Qatar and Arab countries known for their moderate positions (toward Israel) have expressed their opposition to the Israeli proposal to participate in the administration of the Gaza Strip at the end of the war that erupted after Hamas's unprecedented attack on southern Israel on October 7, 217 days ago." The sources also mentioned that "Egypt opposes the ban on Israel allowing humanitarian aid through the Rafah crossing. It was reported that the Egyptian border guards have increased the frequency of their patrols along the Gaza border as the Israeli army enters the Rafah crossing and clashes erupt in and around the city."
