Strong Statement from Vinicius Junior

Brazilian player Vinicius Junior, a star of Real Madrid, expressed his anger towards the incidents of racism that occurred in recent hours. Spanish stadiums witnessed three cases of racism in the past few hours, two of which took place during the match between Getafe and Sevilla. Vinicius wrote on his account on the platform "X": "I won’t be able to play this week, but on Saturday alone, I found 3 cases of racism in Spain." He added: "I fully support Sar (a third division player in Spain), Marcos Acuña from Sevilla, and his coach Kiki." He continued: "Racists must be prosecuted; we cannot win this battle without expelling racists from the stadiums and sending them directly to jail." Vinicius is considered one of the players who have recently faced racism in Spanish stadiums. He will miss Real Madrid's match against Athletic Bilbao today, Sunday, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, in round 30 of La Liga, due to accumulated yellow cards. It is worth noting that Sevilla condemned, yesterday, the alleged "racist and xenophobic abuses" directed at defender Marcos Acuña and the team's coaching staff during their victory at Getafe with a score of 1-0 on Saturday in La Liga.
