Mokhtar Shweifat and Younes Dahar responded to the fake pages that insulted the army leadership in the name of "the Arabs," targeting a high-ranking officer. They affirmed that "the Arabs of Khaldeh and their dignitaries have no connection to these dubious pages that deviate from the principles of the clans and their children toward the nation and the army." Dahar praised the army's leadership for their cooperation regarding the events in Khaldeh, through several meetings held at the office of Director General Tony Kahwaji and the Director of the Mount Lebanon Branch, General Tony Maouad, involving all concerned national parties, namely the Future Movement, the Socialist Party, the Democratic Party, the Amal Movement, and, on the other hand, Hezbollah, in addition to Sunni deputies tasked with resolving the fallout from the Khaldeh incident. Dahar thanked the army leadership for "these wise efforts that led to the near resolution of this matter," hoping for the "release of all detainees to achieve an exceptional national reconciliation."
