The Lebanese team took the lead against the Qatari team 1-0 in the first leg but failed to maintain that advantage in the second leg, ultimately losing 0-2 in extra time. Lebanon had previously exited the semi-finals after losing to the Saudi team, represented by the world champion in FIFA, Mosaed Al-Dosari, with a score of 3-2 in the first leg and 1-0 in the second leg.
Lebanon's advancement to the semi-finals came after finishing second in Group B with 3 points, having drawn with Oman 0-0 and Kuwait 0-0 in the first leg, drawing with Oman 2-2, and losing to Kuwait 3-2 in the second leg. The tournament is held under the auspices of FIFA during the days recognized for electronic football, utilizing a (2 vs. 2) format on the (PlayStation) platform, with four players on each team.
The first edition of the tournament was held in April 2021 via remote video conferencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic at that time, with the Saudi team claiming the title, while the Emirati team finished second, the Kuwaiti team third, and the Qatari team fourth. The second edition took place in July 2021, also remotely, where the Kuwaiti team secured the title, and the Saudi team finished second, with the Emirati and Qatari teams in third and fourth places, respectively. The Saudi team holds the title of the third edition, which was held in person in Kuwait in May 2022, with the Qatari team finishing second, the Kuwaiti team third, and the Lebanese team fourth overall.
